Cookie Policy

A clear record of the browser storage used by this website and how optional analytics choices are controlled.

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used on phoenixadditive.co.uk. UK rules apply not only to traditional cookies but also to technologies that store information on, or access information from, a visitor’s device.

2. What we use today

This website uses a small amount of browser storage to remember your privacy choice. On a first visit, the Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tag may load in a privacy-limited state with analytics storage denied. In that state, Google Analytics cookies are not read or written, although Google may receive cookieless measurement signals used for basic website statistics and modelling. Full GA4 analytics storage is enabled only if you choose Accept analytics.

Like most web hosting, the server may also create technical access logs when a page or file is requested. Server logs are covered in our Privacy Policy; they are not browser cookies.

Current status: GA4 uses an advanced-consent implementation. Before a choice, analytics storage is denied and no GA4 analytics cookies are set. If you allow analytics, analytics storage becomes granted. If you reject analytics, the website records that objection and blocks GA4 on later page loads from that browser. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation remain disabled.

3. Storage and analytics technologies

GA4 helps us understand matters such as page usage, traffic sources, device categories and interactions with the website. Enhanced Measurement may also record events such as scrolling, outbound link clicks, file downloads and form interactions. Before analytics consent, any Google measurement is limited by denied analytics storage and does not use GA4 first-party analytics cookies. A successful website enquiry is recorded as a generate_lead event only when analytics has been allowed. We use this information to understand and improve the website, not to run advertising on this site.

4. Your choices

On a first eligible visit, privacy-limited cookieless measurement may operate with analytics storage denied while the choice banner is shown. You can choose Accept analytics to enable GA4 analytics cookies, or open Change settings and save with analytics switched off (or choose Reject analytics) to object. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website or sending an enquiry, and GA4 is blocked on later page loads from that browser.

You can revisit your decision at any time using in the footer. If you withdraw analytics consent, the website tells Google that analytics storage is denied, attempts to remove Google Analytics cookies set for this site and reloads into the blocked state. You can also clear cookies and site storage in your browser.

Google Analytics is provided by Google. For more information about GA4 cookies, see Google’s Analytics cookie information.

5. Changes to this policy

We will review this page if we introduce new analytics, embedded services, advertising technology or other storage/access technologies.
